Goffs Orby graduate Dragon Pulse brought dual Group 1 winning Dabirsim’s unbeaten record to an end when winning the Group 3 Prix De Fontainebleau at Longchamp this afternoon for owner Dr K.C. Tan. Dragon Pulse quickened impressively from 1 ½ furlongs out and got up on the line to beat Dabirism by a short head.
The Kyllachy three year old, previously trained in Ireland by Jessica Harrington where he landed the Group 2 Futurity Stakes before finishing second in the Group 1 Goffs National Stakes, is now the charge of Mikel Delzangles in France and today’s winning debut for the trainer sees Dragon Pulse at 10/1 for the 2000 Guineas.
Dragon Pulse was sold by John Tuthill’s Owenstown Stud to Dr K.C. Tan for €120,000 at the Orby Sale 2010.
