Queen Mother Champion Chase winner Finian’s Rainbow, Oscar Whisky, Alderwood, Last Instalment are just a few of the recent Grade 1 stars bought at the Land Rover Sale. The most recent Gold Cup winner, the three most recentChampion Chasers and two of the three most recent Champion Hurdlers bought as stores in Ireland or the UK were bought at Goffs Land Rover Sale.
The strongest catalogue to date for Goffs’ premier National Hunt Sale includes siblings to a host of Grade 1 winners including Oscar Whisky (Lot 163), Dedigout (Lot 210), Diamond Harry (Lot 123), Spirit Of Adjisa (Lot 147),Thisthatandtother (Lot 168), Alexander Banquet (Lot 182), Hear The Echo (Lot 221), Garruth (Lot 30), and Citizen Vic(Lot 40) amongst many others.
The catalogue also features close relations to Kauto Star (Lot 18), Sizing Europe (Lot 117), Newmill (Lot 28 and Lot 201), Hardy Eustace (Lot 233), One Man (Lot 68), For Non Stop (Lot 298), See More Business (Lot 31), Zafarabad (Lot 142) etc.

Horses purchased as stores at Goffs Land Rover Sale dominated the top spots at the 2012 HIT and Point to Point Sales. Examples include the €29,000 Land Rover purchase that resold for £310,000, a €17,500 store that made€170,000 at Goffs Punchestown Sale, and the €16,000 and €45,000 purchases that sold for £220,000 at DBS and£150,000 respectively.

The Land Rover Paddock is a new addition for this year’s sale and will be open for lunch from midday on Wednesday and Thursday, with a delicious menu catered by the renowned Kildare Kitchen team.
