Lady Wingshot heads Goffs 1-2-3 in Listed race at Galway

The Jim Bolger trained Lady Wingshot led home a Goffs 1-2-3 in the Listed Arthur Guinness EBF Corrib Stakes at Galway, edging out Dermot Weld’s Group winning Orby graduate Yellow Rosebud by a head with Rock On Ciara in third.
Owned by Ballylinch Stud, Lady Wingshot, a three year old daughter of Lawman, was consigned at the Goffs November Foal Sale 2009 by Ardrums House for breeder CJ Foy and purchased by Paul Nataf for €36,000. Yellow Rosebud was sold by the Irish National Stud to Bobby O’Ryan for €75,000 at the 2010 Orby Sale, while Rock On Ciara was sold by Paget Bloodstock to Pat McGee for €90,000 at the November Foal Sale 2009.
