GoffsDBS celebrate more Group 1 success

Group 1 success continued for GoffsDBS today when the Aidan O’Brien trained Excelebration won the Group 1 Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville.
Partnered by Christophe Soumillon, the four year old favourite ran prominently behind the leaders before challenging two furlongs out and running on strongly to record a 1 ¼ length victory. It was a second Group 1 for Excelebration, who has also finished runner up to the mighty Frankel on four occasions at the highest level.
Excelebration went through the sales ring at Goffs November Foal Sale 2008 where he was sold by breeder Owenstown Stud to John Walsh Bloodstock for €15,000, and was purchased subsequently by Marco Botti for €20,000 at the DBS Premier Yearling Sales 2009. Click here to view his pedigree.
