Celebrations on both sides of the Irish Sea for Goffs

Goffs graduates were advertising their ability on both sides of the Irish Sea on Saturday when Court In Motion and Shinrock Paddy were successful in graded contests.

 

The six year old Court In Motion finished second in the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle on his last start and followed that up by winning the Grade 2 Leamington Novices’ Hurdle at Warwick by 21 lengths. Trained by Emma Lavelle, he was sold by Rathvin Stud to GH Bloodstock for €50,000 at the Goffs Land Rover Sale 2008 and is now one of the leading fancies for theGrade 1 Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdler at the Cheltenham festival.

Shinrock Paddy completed the double when winning the Grade 3 Limestone Lad Hurdle at Naas. The son of Deploy was sold by Scolboa House to Railstown Stud for €8,000 at the Goffs December Sale 2004 and will now be aimed at the Grade 2 Boyne Hurdle at Navan next month.
