Classic Number Three For Goffs Orby Sale

It was Classic number three for Goffs Orby Sale in 2013 as Voleuse De Coeurs outclassed her rivals with a six length win in the Group 1 Gain Irish St Leger at the Curragh for Lady O'Reilly, Dermot Weld and Chris Hayes.

Voleuse De Coeurs was bred by the Irish National Stud who consigned the daughter of Teofilo at the 2010 Orby Sale, Lot 1, where she was purchased by Skymarc Farm for €30,000.

Goffs has sold more Classic winners than any other UK or Irish sales company in 2013, with Voleuse De Coeurs joining the Orby roll of honour alongside Sky Lantern and Just The Judge.  Today's St Leger winner was the second in a row for the Orby as it was won by Goffs yearling graduate Royal Diamond in 2012.

Goffs were proud to sponsor the other Group 1 on today's Curragh card, the Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes which was won in commanding style by the Richard Hannon trained Toormore - a DBS Premier Yearling Sales graduate - to give owners Middleham Park with their first Group 1 winner.
