Galileo Sister To Toronado Heads To Goffs

A sister to the champion Toronado is one of two beautifully bred foals by world champion Galileo due to be offered at Goffs November Foal Sale.

Consigned by Jacqueline Norris’ Jockey Hall Stud for her breeders Littlejohn Bloodstock, the filly is from the immediate family of Group 1 two year old and first season sire Casamento out of a mare that won twice.

Cahermorris Stud will also send a daughter of Galileo out of  Irish 1000 Guineas winner Saoire who has an impeccable 100% winners to runners ratio with all four of her foals to race winning including Listed winner Requisition. Several of Saoire’s offspring have sold well at Goffs in the past including her yearling of 2010 by Invincible Spirit who realised €550,000.

Commenting on the Galileo fillies Goffs Chief Executive Henry Beeby said:

“Galileo is the world’s greatest sire and to have two such beautifully bred filly foals is a huge privilege. They will form part of a mouth-watering catalogue of foals at Goffs next month”

The Goffs November Foal catalogue will be available on-line from 9 October and published six days later on 15 October. Further information on other top class foals will follow in due course.
