Florida Express was the impressive winner of the Listed Imperial Call Chase at Sandown today to take the 10 year olds earnings to over £40,000.
The Philip Redmond trained son of Florida Son raced in behind the leaders for much of the race before taking up the running with two left to jump and staying on well to come home eight lengths in front of his nearest rival.
Florida Express was sold by Forth Mountain Stud to a cash purchaser for £6,000 as a NH Foal at the Goffs December Sale 2000.
