This brand new sale of world class 2yo Breeze Up horses and Horses In Training will take place in the stunning central London location of The Orangery at Kensington Palace on the eve of Royal Ascot, Monday 16 June 2014.

Frequently Asked Questions:
 
What type of horses will be sold and how many? 
Approximately 30 Breeze Up horses (unraced 2 yr olds) and 20 Horses in Training (horses with form).
 
Where will the horses be located?
Kempton Park Racecourse, TW16 5AQ.
The Breeze Up (unraced) horses will be stabled at Kempton Park Racecourse from from Friday 13th June to Monday 16th June.  
Horses in Training should be available for inspection at Kempton Park on Sunday 15th and Monday 16th June. (Horses in Training that hold Royal Ascot entries may remain in the stable yard of their registered trainer).
 
 
BREEZE UP HORSES:
 
When do the horses breeze (time/date)?
10.30 am on Saturday 14th June at Kempton Park Racecourse.
 
Where and when will the breeze be available to see online?
Immediately following the breeze at www.goffs.com. 
 
When will the Breeze Up horses be ready for viewing?
Saturday 14th, Sunday 15th and Monday 16th June from 9 am to 5 pm.
 
 
HORSES IN TRAINING:
 
When and where will horses be vetted?
Following entry Horses in Training will be vetted at the yard of their registered trainer. The vetting will be inclusive of x-rays, ultrasound scans, wind testing and endoscopic examination. 
 
What veterinary procedures apply for Horses In Training?
Horses in Training will be offered with a Pre-Sale Veterinary Certificate.  Each Lot shall be examined within 10 days of the sale at the premises of its trainer by a vet appointed by Goffs. For horses trained outside the UK the Lot shall be examined at a location as directed by Goffs. The examination will be a full clinical examination, with x-rays, to determine the Lot’s suitability for racing.
 
How will potential purchasers have access to the veterinary certificates and x-rays of the horses in training?
Veterinary reports and x-rays will be held in a repository at Kempton Park Racecourse from 9am on Saturday 14th June.  For further information please contact Sophie Candy sophiecandy@goffs.ie 
 
How late can an entry be made for an HIT?
Entries close at 10am on Tuesday 3rd June. Wild cards may be accepted up to the day of sale.
 
Can horses change ownership and trainer before running at Ascot if they hold an entry?
Yes. Subject to the special Memorandum Of Understanding signed by Goffs, BHA and Weatherbys.     
 
 
THE SALE:
 
When will the catalogue be available?
The initial catalogue will be published on 14th May.  
Later entries will be published online and a second complete catalogue will be printed the week before the sale.
 
Where will the sale be held?
The Orangery at Kensington Palace, London. W8 4PX.

Will I be able to see the horses during the sale at The Orangery?
Yes, the horses will be visible parading via live link from Kempton to The Orangery and displayed on large LED screens outside and plasma screens inside.
 
Can I bid from Kempton Park Racecourse?
Yes, there will be bid spotters at Kempton who will transfer your bid via live link to Kensington Palace.?
 
Do you need an invitation to attend the sale at The Orangery? 
Yes.  Due to a limit on numbers at The Orangery, prospective buyers requiring an invitation should contact Goffs to give details and make credit arrangements in advance of the sale. Contact Goffs on +353 (0)45 886600 or email londonsale@goffs.ie.
 
What time can I attend The Orangery from?
Afternoon tea and drinks will be available from 3 pm.
 
What time will the auction begin and end?
5 pm to 7 pm. 
 
What are the seating arrangements at The Orangery?
There are no formal seating arrangements.  Tables and chairs are available on the terrace, lawns and inside the marquees.  Tables inside The Orangery will be reserved by Goffs and allocated at their discretion on the day of the sale.
