GoffsDBS enjoyed a Stakes double at Lingfield this afternoon.
Goffs Orby graduate Gusto took the Listed Spring Cup for Highclere Thoroughbred Racing. The Richard Hannon trained three year old son of Oasis Dream, a Stakes winner at two, is to be targeted at the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot. Gusto was sold by Rathmore Studto John Warren for €120,000 at the 2010 Goffs Orby Sale.
Alan McCabe’s bargain purchase Fratellino, who he acquired for just £2,200 at the DBS October Yearling Sales in 2008, landed the Listed Hever Sprint Stakes and according to the trainer is being aimed at the Wokingham Stakes at Royal Ascot. Fratellino was consigned byLlety Farms at DBS. It was a 1-2 for DBS as second placed Spirit Quartz is a graduate of the November HIT Sales.
