High Class Updates For Goffs Punchestown Sale Sale

The Grade 2 winning Novice Hurdler Mozoltov is among the latest additions to the impressive line-up of Horses In Training and Point to Pointers catalogued for this Thursday’s Goffs Punchestown Invitation Sale.

 

The seven year old son of Kayf Tara won two Bumpers and was placed behind Champagne Fever in the Grade 1 Champion Bumper at Punchestown last year. He has won twice over hurdles, most recently in a Grade 2 Novice Hurdle at Punchestown in February where he beat odds on favourite Don Cossack.

The select sale which takes place in the Winners Enclosure immediately following racing on Thursday 25th. Catalogues are available online at www.goffs.com and from the Goffs marquee next to the weigh room at Punchestown from Tuesday
Entries are as follows:

1          KYLECRUE,  6yo g by Gold Well
Won by 12l on his debut on 7 April at Templemore. Jumped well and kept on strongly in the final couple of furlongs. Started his career later than others but looks nice prospect.

2          WITHDRAWN 

3          BOB KEOWN, 5yo g by Indian Danehill
Finished second on his debut on 13 April at Loughbrickland. Winner had the advantage of previous runs, and this one should can expect to improve his finishing position next time. 

4          BALLYBOLLEY, 4yo g by Kayf Tara
Eye-catching runner up on debut on 1 April at Loughanmore, making a strong looking challenge around the bend. From the family of Earth Magic and Sweet Kiln, he would expect to win next time. 

5          YES SIR BRIAN, 4yo g by Brian Boru
Won Punchestown Bumper on 20 February, his only run, by 2l under a hands and heel ride. Looks like a very useful prospect. 

6          CLOUDY JOKER, 5yo g by Cloudings
Won Tallanstown point on his third start, his first run on better ground. He quickened, jumped and stayed on well to the line and looks like a nice prospect for the future.

8          THE GAME CHANGER, 4yo g by Arcadio
Winner of his only start in a Cork bumper. Travelled well before easing into the lead without being extended. Holds an entry in Goffs Land Rover Bumper. 

9          MEASUREOFMYDREAMS, 5yo g by Shantou
Runner up first time at Kildorrery before winning well on 31 March at Quakerstown.

10        DOUBLE IRISH, 5yo g by Kings Theatre
Unlucky not to win first time out in February at Kildorrery, before finishing second on 1st April in a Cork bumper, where he kept on well in the last couple of furlongs.

Runner-up in two points before winning by 8 lengths on 9 March at Maralin. Followed up with an eye-catching 3rd on 31 March in a good Fairyhouse bumper.

Runner up in Gowran Bumper on 9 April. Caught at the line and beaten just a neck by odds-on Indevan.

Progressed from debut to finish 3rd in Oldtown Maiden behind Very Wood and Champagne At Tara. Half brother to In Compliance and One Cool Cookie 

17        ANDY KELLY, 4yo g by Flemensfirth
Runner up to Sucker Punch on 31 March at Lisronagh – a terrific debut performance having been prominent throughout. 

18        LIKE IT A LOT, 4yo g by Kayf Tara
In what was a strong maiden on Sunday at Dromahane, Like It A Lot stayed on very well on his debut to take 3rd, and looks a certain Maiden winner.

Runner up on his debut on Sunday at Dromahane where he travelled with purpose and fits the profile thought of a horse that should easily win a bumper. 

21        PEPPER CANISTER, 5yo g by Milan
Finished first on Sunday in his Maiden at Stradbally, which was subsequently declared void. Previously took the eye at Inch when runner up to the highly regarded Gunner Fifteen. 

22        MOZOLTOV, 7yo g by Kayf Tara
Outstanding Gr1 Bumper performer and recent Gr 2 winning Novice Hurdler.  Top class hurdling and chasing prospect.

23        BLAKEMOUNT, 5yo g by Presenting
“Quickened best” and jumped well to win at Stradbally on 21st April. Looks a chaser in the making with improvement likely.

24        CHAMPAGNE RIAN, 5yo g by Dr Massini
Promising second on his debut in a Cork Bumper on the 31 March. Sure to improve and exciting prospect.

25        CLASSIC MOVE, 4yo g by Flying Legend
Point winner in the UK before finishing a cracking third in the Land Rover Bumper where short of room inside final furlong. Will be better for the experience and is an exciting prospect.
