Hurricane Fly scored a sensational fifth consecutive win in the Grade 1 Irish Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown yesterday, stretching his Grade 1 winning record to 22 victories at the top level.
It was Hurricane Fly's third win over reigning Cheltenham Champion Hurdler Jezki this season, and it is all systems go for Hurricane Fly now for the Festival in March where he is as low as 6/1 for a third win in the Champion Hurdle.
Hurricane Fly was sold as a yearling at Goffs by the Irish National Stud to R Teman and JL Pelleton for €65,000.
