Jet Setting & Ridestan Provide Stakes Double For Goffs

Classic winner Jet Setting (pictured) was back to her best on ground she loves at Tipperary on Sunday when flying clear of her rivals to win the aptly named Group 3 Concorde Stakes by 6 ½ lengths for trainer Adrian Keatley and owners the China Horse Club.

Jet Setting was sold at the Goffs London Sale for £1,300,000 by Adrian Keatley Racing, from previous owners the Equinegrowthpartners Syndicate, to China Horse Club International Ltd. The 3 year old filly by Fast Company is also a graduate of the November Foal Sale having been sold by Mr Brian Duffy to Woodstock for €7,000.

A fan of testing conditions, Jet Setting could contest the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot on British Champions Day if the ground became soft.

Attention is turning to the National Hunt season and there are some exciting Goffs graduates to look forward to over jumps this winter. Open yearling & Horses In Training graduate, Ridestan made it back-to-back wins when taking the Grade 3 Kilbegnet Novice Chase on Saturday at Gowran Park for trainer Henry de Bromhead, having previously won a Beginner’s Chase at Killarney by 12 lengths.

Ridestan, a 6 year old gelding by Linngari, was sold as a Horse In Training by The Aga Khan Studs from Copper Beech Stables to Denis Hogan for €6,500 and is now a five time winner with a promising career over fences.

The Open Yearling & Horses In Training Sale is now closed, however, wild card entries will be accepted for the Horses In Training Section.
