Alderwood became the latest Grade 1winning Land Rover Sale graduate when putting in a gritty performance to land theGrade 1 Evening Herald Champion Novice Hurdle at Punchestown for JP McManus, Tony McCoy and Tom Mullins.
It was a superb Land Rover double for Mullins with graduates of the sale as Some Articlewas the impressive winner of the €100,000 Land Rover Bumper. The four year old son of Definite Article was purchased for €11,500 at last year's sale. Some Article's vendor Karen Hannon was the lucky recipient of the Land Rover Defender, the unique prize exclusive to Goffs vendors.
