Land Rover Sale graduate Holywell was victorious for the second consecutive time at theCheltenham Festival when taking the Grade 3Baylis & Harding Affordable Luxury Handicap Chase in some style for Jonjo O’Neill.
The seven year old son of Gold Well was following up on his 2013 win in the Pertemps Hurdle Final. Holywell (pictured) was purchased for just €7000 at the Land Rover Sale by Sean Doyle, where he was consigned by theJamestown Consignment. Click here for Holywell’s pedigree.
Success continued on Day 1 for Goffs Land Rover Sale as the Jamie Snowden trained Present Viewtook the final race on the card, the Rewards4Racing Novices Chase under Brendan Powell.
Present View was sold by Ridgeway Paddocks as a foal at the Goffs December National Hunt Sale to Frannie Woods of Rathbarry Stud who then consigned him as a three year old at the Land Rover Sale where the son of Presenting was purchased by Tom Malone for €40,000.
