The fantastic run of success continued throughout the four day Cheltenham Festival with GoffDBS selling more winners than all other Sales Companies combined with 13 winners and seven at Grade 1 level.
Countrywide Flame started the final day in style when winning the Grade 1 JCB Triumph Hurdle for John Quinn and Dougie Costello. The son of Haafhd was sold as a yearling at DBS in 2009 and had finished in the frame in Grade 1 contests before running at Cheltenham.
Brindisi Breeze kept the ball rolling when winning the Grade 1 Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle for Lucinda Russell and Campbell Gillies. The King’s Theatre gelding was sold at the Goffs December NH Foal Sale 2006 and had previously been the impressive winner of the Grade 2 Prestige Novices’ Hurdle at Haydock before beating home the Grade 1 winning DBS graduate Boston Bob.
Alderwood and Salsify completed the final day winning quartet and the week ended with 13 winners in total, including:
- Cinders And Ashes, winner of the Grade 1Supreme Novices Hurdle. A graduate of the DBS Spring HIT Sales 2009
- Alfie Sherrin, winner of the Grade 3 JLT Specialty Handicap Chase. A graduate of the DBS August HIT Sales 2010
- Rock On Ruby, winner of the Grade 1 Champion Hurdle Challenge Trophy. A graduate of the DBS Spring Store Sales 2009
- Balthazar King, winner of the Glenfarclas Handicap Chase (Cross Country Chase). A graduate of the Goffs Land Rover Sale 2007
- Teaforthree, winner of the Diamond Jubilee National Hunt Chase. A graduate of the DBS Spring HIT Sales 2010
- Bob's Worth, winner of the Grade 1 RSA Chase. A graduate of the DBS Spring Store Sales 2009
- Finian's Rainbow, winner of the Grade 1 Queen Mother Champion Chase. A graduate of the Goffs Land Rover Sale 2007
- Son Of Flicka, winner of the Grade 3 Coral Cup. A graduate of the Goffs Land River Sale 2007
- Riverside Theatre, winner of the Grade 1 Ryanair Chase . A graduate of the DBS Spring Store Sales 2007
