Goffs December NH Sale graduate Luska Lad recorded his second Grade 2 victory in two weeks when winning the Grade 2 Red Mills Trial Hurdle at Gowran Park on Saturday for local trainer John "Shark" Hanlon.
The six year old son of Flemensfirth made all and fought off the challenges of Jumbo Rio and Noble Prince close home to triumph by half a length under Davy Russell. It was a 1-2 for Goffs as Jumbo Rio was also purchased there as a yearling.
Luska Lad was sold by Tullogher House Stud to Coolnamurry Stud for €10,000 as a foal at the 2004 Goffs December National Hunt Sale.
