Noyelles (), the dam of Group 1performers Lily’s Angel and Zurigha, is another highlight in an outstanding catalogue of breeding stock to go under the hammer at next week’s Goffs November Sale.
The nine year old mare Noyelles is out of aGroup winning sister to three Stakes winners and is in foal to Tweenhills Stud exciting new sire Harbour Watch. She has producedLily’s Angel and Zurigha who are both Stakes winners at Newmarket and both wereGroup 1 placed in 2013.
Lily’s Angel ran an excellent second in the Group 1 Matron Stakes at Leopardstown in September when just headed in the final strides by La Collina. . As consistent and honest as they come, she won four times as a juvenile including theListed Empress Stakes at Newmarket, recorded further Stakes success at three and was also placed in the Group 3 Nell Gwyn Stakes.
Earlier this year Lily’s Angel followed up a win in Dubai with a Group 2 fourth behind dualGroup 1 winner Sajjhaa at Meydan. Back on home turf the Ger Lyons trained filly won aGroup 3 and a Listed race this season and was Stakes placed four times before her impressive Matron Stakes performance.
Zurigha from the Richard Hannon stable meanwhile delivered on the promise she showed when finishing a fast finishing and unlucky 4th in the Group 1 French 1000 Guineas when winning the Listed Rosemary Stakes at Newmarket in September this year, defeating the champion Gr1 winner Igugu.
Goffs November Sale takes place from 18 – 23 November. The Foal Sale takes place over four days starting on the 18th and is followed on the evening of Thursday 21st by the November Yearling Sale. The two day November Breeding Stock Sale commences on Friday 22nd November and features the much anticipated Paulyn Dispersal.
