The classy Group winner Moonstone Magic, in foal to Exceed And Excel, is another premium prospect on offer at next week’s Goffs November Sale.
A three time winner from five starts, including an 8 length debut success, Moonstone Magic’s best performance came in the Group 3 Fred Darling Stakes at Newbury in 2012 when she won by almost four lengths, with Group 2 winner Best Terms among those in her wake. On her reappearance this season, she finished third in the Group 3 Athasi Stakes behind subsequent Group 2 Park Stakes winner Viztoria and Bunairgead ( in the November Sale). Trained by Ralph Beckett, Moonstone Magic () was victorious on her final outing at Nottingham in May, before being covered by Exceed and Excel.
Moonstone Magic is a daughter of Trade Fair out of the Kyllachy mare Woodcock Moon who is also for sale at Goffs next week as The nine year old mare is a sister to a US Stakes winner and is closely related to a number of Champions. Woodcock Moon is in foal to Dutch Art.
Goffs November Sale gets underway in just one week’s time, from 18 – 23 November. The Foal Sale takes place over four days starting on the 18th and is followed on the evening of Thursday 21st by the November Yearling Sale. The two day November Breeding Stock Sale commences on Friday 22nd November and features the much anticipated Paulyn Dispersal.
