Orby yearling Yellow Rosebud landed the Group 3 Derrinstown Stud 1,000 Guineas Trail at Leopardstown.
The daughter of Jeremy finished fourth in the Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac as a juvenile and will now be aimed at the Group 1 Irish 1,000 Guineas at the Curragh later this month. The Dr Ronan Lambe owned Yellow Rosebud was sold by the Irish National Stud for €75,000 at the Goffs Orby Sale 2010, were she was bought by Bobby O’Ryan on behalf of her trainer Dermot Weld.
