Peniaphobia On Target For G1 Hong Kong Sprint

GoffsDBS sold Peniaphobia raced his way into the Group 1 Hong Kong Sprint next month after a smart win in the Group 2 Jockey Club Sprint at Sha Tin on the weekend for trainer Tony Cruz.

The three-year-old son of Dandy Man was the youngest horse in the field and is only the second three-year-old to ever win the race with the victory taking his career record to six starts for four wins and over £350,000 in prize money.

Peniaphobia was sold at the 2011 Goffs November Foal Sale to Ballyhane Stud from Kilfeacle Stud for €11,000. Ballyhane Stud then offered him at the 2012 DBS Premier Yearling Sales were he was purchased by Hugo Merry Bloodstock for £20,000.
