Punchestown Sale topper Getabird back on form at Fairyhouse

Punchestown graduate Getabird was back to winning ways at the Easter Festival at Fairyhouse when he took home the Grade 2 Rathbarry and Glenview Studs Novice Hurdle by 12 lengths. Trained by Willie Mullins for Mrs Susannah Ricci, this was a fifth win for Getabird, with his previous Graded victory coming in the Grade 2 Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle at Punchestown where he won by 9 lengths over Grade 1 winner Mengli Khan and the Grade 1 placed Carter McKay.

Getabird topped the 2016 Punchestown Sale when sold by Colin Bowe’s Milestone Stables to Harold Kirk and Willie Mullins for €200,000.
