Quality Breeding Stock At November Sale

The catalogue for the Breeding Stock section of Goffs November Sale is now available online and features a quality selection of 469 broodmares and fillies out of training that will be offered for sale on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November. 

Drafts from some of the world’s most renowned stud farms are on offer including Aga Khan Studs, Airlie Stud, Ballylinch Stud, The Castlebridge Consignment, Darley, Derrinstown Stud, Irish National Stud, Kilcarn Stud, Kiltinan Castle Stud, Moyglare Stud, Rathasker Stud, Rathbarry Stud, Redmondstown Stud, Triermore Stud etc.

Leading broodmare sires are well represented throughout such as Danehill, Danehill Dancer, Darshaan, Galileo, Montjeu, Pivotal, Sadlers Wells etc, while the impressive profile of covering sires includes Acclamation, Canford Cliffs, Cape Cross, Dark Angel, Dawn Approach, Dream Ahead, Exceed And Excel, Kodiac, Pivotal, Ruler Of The World, Sea The Moon, Slade Power, Teofilo, Toronado, War Command and Zoffany amongst others.

Just some of the many stand out lots include a Galileo sister to dual Group winner Yellow Rosebud and a Listed winner from the Irish National Stud (); the Group placed daughter of an own sister to Teofilo, We’ll Go Walking, consigned by Abbeville & Meadow Court Studs and is in foal to Mastercraftsman (); a Group 3 winner and Group 1 placed daughter of Teofilo in foal to Derby winner Pour Moi from Redmondstown Stud (); the dam of a Kodiac Group 2 winner this year from Commane Stud back in foal to Kodiac (); the dam of Group winner Hawksmoor in foal to Dark Angel from Ridge Manor Stud () as well as a dam of a Listed winner from Tinnakill House also in foal to Dark Angel ().

Goffs November Sale is known as an excellent source of quality by buyers around the world, and the progeny of breeding stock purchased at Goffs enjoyed another strong season of international Stakes success in 2015, stretching all the way to Australia with recent Group 1 winner Magic Hurricane whose dam was purchased at this sale.
