Sea The Stars To Shine At Goffs Again

Sea The Stars foals and yearlings have sold superbly at Goffs in the last three years with his first crop reaching unprecedented heights in 2011 and two of his yearlings making headlines at last week’s Orby Sale headed by a price of €1,100,000.

Four smart Sea The Stars youngsters will be catalogued in Goffs November Foal Sale all with strong black type pedigrees.

Roundhill Stud sold a Sea The Stars colt at the Orby Sale for €850,000 and they return to Goffs with a filly out of Stakes winning mare Behkiyra who is already the dam of two winners and is herself a daughter of the European Champion Behera.

Another highly successful Orby vendor was the Irish National Stud whose draft was topped by a daughter of resident sire Invincible Spirit who realised €720,000. Their Goffs Foal consignment will feature a Sea The Stars first foal out of the Listed winning, Group placed Aquila D’Oriente who is out of a sister to European Champion Falbrav.

The trio of Sea The Stars fillies is completed by Newtown Stud’s half-sister to three winners from the Aga Khan family of Group 1 winner Mourayan who now has career earnings of over €1.5 million.

Sea The Stars will also be represented by a colt foal at Goffs. He is the second foal of a sister to three Black Type winners including Leporello and forms part of another strong draft from The Castlebridge Consignment.
