Goffs two year olds recorded a Stakes double this afternoon at the Curragh and San Siro.
The Eddie Lynam trained Viztoria was the impressive winner of the Listed Blenheim Stakes at the Curragh. The filly’s sister is on offer at this week’s Orby Sale as , part of an excellent draft from Airlie Stud who consigned Viztoria at Goffs February Sale 2011 where she was purchased by Chinook Farm for €15,000.
The Mick Channon trained Sorella Bella meanwhile won the Listed Premio Coolmore at San Siro. The filly was purchased at last year’s Orby Sale by Gill Richardson for €15,000.
In another notable update to the Orby catalogue, from Lodge Park Stud is an Invincible Spirit half sister to today’s very promising Curragh maiden winner Salhooda.
The two day Goffs Orby Sale gets underway this Wednesday, followed by the Sportsman’s Sale on Friday 5th October.
