“I’d say he’s the best two-year-old seen out in this country so far this season” Richard Hannon Jnr
Top class Orby graduate Sir Prancealot looks a thrilling contender for either the Norfolk or Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot following a storming performance in the Listed National Stakes at Sandown yesterday.
Owned by Andrew Tinkler, the Tamayuz colt was a class apart in the five furlong contest where he overcame trouble in running to cruise to a 4 ½ length victory and maintain his unbeaten record.
Sir Prancealot was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock for €140,000 at last year’s Goffs Orby Sale. He was consigned by Edie Murray-Hayden’s Gormanstown Stud – purchaser of the colt as a foal at Goffs November Foal Sale from his breeder Dermot Cantillon for €52,000.
