The Worlds End provided the Land Rover Sale with another high class Saturday success when staying on well to win the Grade 2 Prestige Hurdle at Haydock, while fellow Land Rover graduate Ball D’Arc (pictured) continued the trend with an easy 19 length Grade 3 success at Navan.
A 6 year old by Stowaway, The Worlds End has progressed with perfection to date having won 4 of his 5 races under rules and while he is viewed by his trainer Tom George as a top class chaser in the making he is likely to take his place in the Albert Bartlett Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
The Worlds End was sold by Silverbirch Stables and purchased by Monbeg Stables for €20,000 in the Land Rover Sale 2014.
A Grade 2 hurdle winner, Ball D’Arc remains on target for the Grade 1 Ryanair Gold Cup at Fairyhouse following a comfortable success in the Grade 3 Flyingbolt Novices’ Chase at Navan on Sunday for the Gordon Elliott and Gigginstown House Stud team.
Ball D’Arc was sold by Moanmore Stables for €80,000 and is another successful Land Rover graduate to have been purchased by the late Dessie Hughes.
Congratulations to all connections.
