Another Six-Figure Walk In The Park Foal Tops Day 3 Of Goffs December

The best was kept until last on Day 3 of Goffs December National Hunt Sale as an exceptional Walk In The Park colt out of Listed winner and multiple Grade 2 placed Duhallow Gesture sold to Richard Rohan for €100,000.  The final foal through the ring was consigned by Galbertstown Stables on behalf of Sean Ronan (pictured with Lot 642) and became the second six figure foal of the week at Kildare Paddocks following yesterday’s record top price of €155,000.

Kevin Ross and Ben Case secured the next highest priced Lot of the session when going to €75,000 for a colt by Poet’s Word out of the Grade 2 Novice Chase winner and Grade 1 placed Dinaria Des Obeaux from Louis Kennedy’s Mountain View Stud (Lot 624).

Walk In The Park dominated the remainder of the top five lots with Oliver Loughlin’s well-related colt from the family of Albertas Run (Lot 426) selling to Ronan Griffin for €68,000, while Yellowford Farm’s colt out of a sister to both the 22-time Grade 1 winner and Goffs graduate Hurricane Fly as well as to the dam of last year’s Grade 1 King George VI Chase winner and Land Rover store Tornado Flyer (Lot 415) sold to JC Bloodstock for €66,000.  Clonbonny Stud offered another eye-catching Walk In The Park foal in Lot 631, a colt out of an own-sister to three time Grade 1 winner Captain Chris that was bought by Nevin Bloodstock for €60,000.
