Ghaiyyath headlines a black type weekend for Goffs

The Flat season is off to a strong start for graduates of Goffs Orby, November and Champions Sales who enjoyed several Stakes successes over the weekend.  The winners were headed by a superb performance from the €1.1m November Foal sales-topper Ghaiyyath to land the Group 2 Prix d’Harcourt by a wide margin at ParisLongchamp for Godolphin. There was also plenty of black type success at Leopardstown as Lady Kaya and Broome both scored at Group 3 level and Never No More earned Listed success, while last year’s Champions Sale top lot Cimeara landed the feature race at Cork on Sunday, the Listed Noblesse Stakes.
