Goffs Confirm Privat 3 Money As Title Partner Of Iconic London Sale

Goffs is delighted to confirm Privat 3 Money as the title partner for this year’s London Sale to be held on the eve of Royal Ascot, Monday 19 June 2023.  The luxury fintech company partnered with Goffs for the first time in 2022 when a top price of £1.2 million for Epsom Derby runner up Hoo Ya Mal was the highlight of a spectacular sale at Kensington Palace Gardens.

Privat 3 Money is the world’s first truly digital alternative for the private wealth sector, born out of a realisation that traditional players did not fully understand or appreciate the digital needs and demands of a new generation of high-net-worth individuals. The firm has reimagined access to deposits, payments, foreign exchange and trading for the digital age, enabling financial transactions from anywhere in the world via smartphone whilst maintaining the personal customer service offering synonymous with traditional premier finance.

Welcoming Privat 3 Money back for this year’s London Sale, Goffs Group Chief Executive, Henry Beeby said:

“We are delighted to continue our valued partnership with Privat 3 Money for the 2023 Goffs London Sale.  Privat 3 offer expertise and innovation in a traditional market which very much aligns with the Goffs’ ethos, and the natural affinity between P3’s clientele and the international attendees at the London Sale make this a perfect fit.

Goffs London Sale offers the who’s who of international racing the opportunity to mix the business of buying top class horses with an unsurpassed social occasion at a unique time and place.  The experience of purchasing a Royal Ascot runner should be as special as the Royal Meeting itself and our partnership with Privat 3 helped elevate the sale experience for all attendees last year.  We look forward to working with Reda and his team to deliver another truly memorable Goffs London Sale this year for our vendors, buyers and guests of our luxury brand partners”.

Reda Bedjaoui, Founder and CEO of Privat 3 Money expressed excitement about the partnership renewal:

"We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Goffs London Sale, which is an event that we are proud to be associated with. Goffs and Privat 3 share the same ethos of excellence and the same clientele, so it makes total sense for our brands to be aligned once again at the racing year’s most prestigious sale. We are looking forward to another successful year of supporting this event."

Since 2014, the London Sale has produced Classic, Group 1 and Royal Ascot winners and Goffs aims to catalogue another high-class selection of Royal Ascot entries, international prospects and elite breeding stock.  Stallion breeding rights and shares in horses in training will also be considered for sale.

Most of the UK’s highest ever prices for horses in training have been at the London Sale including a Classic winning filly selling mid-season for £1.3 million and last year’s Derby second Hoo Ya Mal making £1.2 million selling to McKeever Bloodstock, Gai Waterhouse, Adrian Bott and Go Bloodstock before going on to Group success at Goodwood en route to Australia.

Exciting juvenile Crypto Force sold for £900,000 last year to Amo Racing and cemented his form with a storming win in the Group 2 Beresford Stakes at the Curragh.  Cadillac meanwhile sold for £500,000 to Sheikh Abdullah Al Sabah and was runner up at Royal Ascot the very next day, one of three Stakes placed performances since the sale.

Agent’s commission of 5% will be offered again at the London Sale and will be paid to the successful purchaser provided they are a recognised bloodstock agent and/or licensed trainer, a move that was met with widespread enthusiasm from many leading agents active at last year’s sale. Goffs Vendor commission of 1.5% remains the lowest on offer.

Entries for the 2023 Goffs London Sale in association with Privat 3 Money will open on 1st May.  To discuss entries, please speak to Nick Nugent (nicknugent@goffs.ie / +353 86 243 8899)  or Joey Cullen (joeycullen@goffs.ie / +353 87 746 6345) or contact any member of the Goffs team.
