With ongoing travel restrictions for many overseas buyers, Goffs strongly recommend that vendors have their Lots filmed and photographed well in advance of upcoming sales. Goffs' overseas agents, as well as a number of key buyers, have requested that footage be made available on the Goffs website as soon as possible to help with their decision making in advance of upcoming sales.
Please ensure that any videos and photographs are sent to marketing@goffs.ie . This will allow them to be uploaded to the Goffs website and shared on social media to maximum advantage. You will find details of professional videographers and production companies at the bottom of this email. Should you wish to film your own footage on your smart phone, Irish Thoroughbred Marketing have also prepared the following guide:
Irish Thoroughbred Marketing is on hand to assist Vendors and Consignors with the development of pre-sale conformation videos and photos.
ITM can assist in several ways:
- A digital masterclass on producing Conformation Videos and Photography using your Smart Phone. Please see video above.
- Assistance with the editing of content shot on your smart phone
- Our Consignor Marketing Support Scheme will provide a subsidy for conformation media shot on farm prior to the sale. Click here for the application form, including scheme terms & conditions.
- Promotion of your content in relevant markets through our global network.
The development of early on-farm footage, complemented with videography as the yearling finishes prep, has proven beneficial in the promotion of stock in overseas markets.
Should you have any questions or queries regarding the above-mentioned opportunities, please don’t hesitate to contact Síle Hayes or Alex Cairns of Irish Thoroughbred Marketing.
