Protocols and Medical Questionnaire for Upcoming Goffs Sales

The Goffs December NH Sale will be held as planned at Kildare Paddocks on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 December as will the rescheduled Goffs November Foal Sale which takes place from Friday 18 – Sunday 20 December followed by the one-day Goffs Breeding Stock Sale on Monday 21 December.

Anyone wishing to attend any of the sales above must read the Goffs COVID-19 protocols which are available in the sales documents section of your Goffs account and can be viewed
here for December NH Sale or here for November Foal and Breeding Stock Sales. These protocols will be strictly adhered to without exception having been drawn up in consultation with HRI and to ensure full compliance with the latest Government directives.

To register attendance for a sale, the COVID-19 medical questionnaire must be completed by all individuals. Goffs must be in receipt of the COVID-19 medical questionnaire before entry will be granted to the Sales Complex.
The COVID-19 medical questionnaire can be completed here.

These protocols are very similar to those successfully utilised at the Goffs Land Rover Sale in August as well as our sales in the UK at which there was complete compliance with the minimum of inconvenience.

Goffs especially draw your attention to the following:

  • Entry to Kildare Paddocks will be strictly limited.
  • For the December National Hunt Sale, Kildare Paddocks will be open for equine arrival at 9 am on Monday, 7 December.
  • For the rescheduled November Foal Sale, the complex will open at 12 noon on Monday 14 December.
  • Entry to Kildare Paddocks will only be granted to those that have pre-registered by completing the relevant medical questionnaire which is available here on the Goffs website.
    • For the December National Hunt Sale, this form must be completed no later than 5 pm Monday 7 December 2020.
    • For the rescheduled November Foal Sale, a completed form must be submitted no later than 5pm on Wednesday 16 December.
  • Goffs will refuse entry to anyone that is not registered and/or shows any symptoms of COVID-19 including an elevated temperature which will be checked upon arrival.
  • Photo ID will be required on arrival to correspond with pre-registration and medical questionnaires.
  • Goffs will refuse entry to anyone who does not, or refuses to, abide by the Sale Protocols in full.
  • Once access has been granted a wrist band will be issued and should remain in place until the end of the sale.
  • All attendees must bring and use their own PPE (this includes instructing all staff accordingly).
  • Face masks MUST be worn at all times indoors and outdoors (except when taking refreshments.)
  • Goffs will not have any cash on site. All payments (including catering) must be made by card whilst Grooms Fees, Inward Buyer Subsidies etc. will all be paid electronically.
  • HRI, ITM, Tattersalls Ireland and Goffs have collaborated to draw up a specific set of protocols and measures to ensure overseas buyers can safely attend the Irish Sales held in December.
