Strong Day 1 At Goffs December Topped By €85,000 No Risk At All Colt

A son of No Risk At All (Lot 160 - pictured) took centre stage on a strong opening day of Goffs December National Hunt Sale as the Yorton-consigned first foal out of six-time winner and Grade 3 Chase placed dam Mrs Lovett sold to Peter Molony of Rathmore Stud for €85,000.  A memorable day at Goffs for the Yorton team also saw their only other offering this week sell to Richard Frisby who went to €47,000 for a colt foal by Blue Bresil (Lot 47).



Walk In The Park sired three of the top five foals on Day 1 which were headed by Ballyreddin Stud’s half-sister to Grand National winner One For Arthur (Lot 177) that sold to Aidan O’Ryan for €60,000.  Peria Stud’s Walk In The Park colt (Lot 82), the first foal of the winning Lily Of Leysbourne who is out of Listed Hurdle winner Alegralil, sold to Ian Ferguson for €58,000, while another foal by the sire of Jonbon and Facile Vega was Yellowford Farm's colt out of a half-sister to Grade 1 Irish Gold Cup winner Conflated  (Lot 117) that sold to the Bleahen Brothers for €45,000.
