Goffs has confirmed the highlights, dates and times for the 2019 Goffs November Sale featuring a superb selection of quality Foals and Breeding Stock.
The Dubawi own-brother to Ghaiyyath out of Classic winner Nightime (pictured) announced earlier this week heads up a world class selection of 771 foals catalogued for Part 1 of the Goffs November Foal Sale 2019. Part 1 will take place from Monday 18 to Wednesday 20 November and is graded by day, building to a climax with the highest tier foals on Wednesday. The sire profile features such names as Dark Angel, Dubawi, Invincible Spirit, Kingman, Lope De Vega, Sea The Stars and Siyouni amongst a host of other established and first crop sires throughout a catalogue that will hold huge international appeal for end-users and pinhookers.
211 foals will be offered in Part 2, which will take place on Friday 22 November from approximately 1pm. They will immediately follow the November Breeding Stock Sale which will see 265 mares from many of Ireland’s leading nurseries offered in the premier breeding stock session on Thursday 21 November, followed by 110 Day 2 mares on Friday morning.
Ahead of the publication of the November catalogues, Goffs Group Chief Executive Henry Beeby said:
“We look forward to publishing the November Foal Sale catalogue on Monday and are confident that end-users and pinhookers alike will be excited by the depth of quality on offer as breeders have sent us a superb selection of some of the best foals that will be offered this year.
As in the past two years, the format for the November Sale allows buyers additional time to view the Part 1 foals. Our tightening up of the mares and Part 2 foals is, we believe, also the most customer friendly option for those vendors, as well as being more convenient for buyers who do not need to wait until Saturday for the foals.
Following the second day of mares in 2018, we have reacted to client feedback by restricting numbers slightly to create one convenient joint session with the Part 2 foals which saw keen competition from a large group of pinhookers at last year’s sale”.
The catalogue for the November Foal Sale will be available online from Monday 14 October. The printed catalogue will be available from 21 October and will contain all Part 1 and Part 2 foals. The November Breeding Stock Sale catalogue will be available online from 17 October and printed copies from the 23 October.
