Review: Metkayina made a most encouraging debut in a Four-year-old Fillies Bumper at Galway finishing third, whilst one month later she readily accounted for her fifteen rivals in a smart looking Mares’ Open Bumper at Ludlow. The Sam Curling trained Diamond Boy filly has demonstrated conspicuous high cruising-speed and a willing attitude in both starts so far, whilst she is also possessed of both an impressive physique and a smart pedigree. In recent years the likes of Marine Nationale, Summerville Boy and Vaillier have all graduated from Skehanagh Stables and there is little doubt that Metkayina could follow in those illustrious hoofprints.
