Marketing Director Michael Orton grew up in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. He went to school and university in New Zealand where he completed a Bachelor and Post Graduate Diploma in Science at the University of Otago in 2007.
After a short stint in resource management in New Zealand’s South Island, Michael decided to pursue a career in the thoroughbred industry and moved to the Hunter Valley in New South Wales, Australia, where he worked for Amarina Farm. On returning to New Zealand he worked at Haunui Farm before taking up a position in the marketing team at New Zealand Bloodstock in Auckland in 2010.
Michael joined the Goffs UK team in early 2014 and was appointed Marketing Director in August 2017. Michael’s interests include a love of the outdoors, fishing, golf and thoroughbred racing.
